FREEDOM #68 58 Million School-Age Children Receive No Schooling In World Today

Great idea for
TEDx or for any conference
for education or sustainability

Students of today are the leaders of tomorrow. We have an opportunity to teach them right from wrong, good from bad and demonstrate by example how a vision can translate into action and make a difference in the world. - Brad Zarnett says on tsss.ca I say students of today are smarter. What if we found a foundation which pays school kids. Let's say they gonna receive money to their bank account after every written and oral test. If children (4-6 years till 26 years) receive a high grade they receive higher amount.

Exemple:
  • between 1,62 and 0,64 Euros at elementary school (ES),
  • 4,86 and 1,92 Euros at high school (HS),
  • and 14,58 and 5,76 Euros at college or university (UNI).
20 lessons per week:

Monday: Math - Business - Physics - Chemistry
Thuesday: Computer - Webdesign, art & drawing - Photography - Software
Wednesday: Literature - Grammer - Language 1 - Language 2
Thursday: Singing - Piano - Guitar - Drums
Friday: History - Religions - Behavior, ethica & moral + sport every afternoon
Also for behavior and homework that you have total 40 grades ("work hours") per week. If you go to elementary school now and you are an excellent student, you can earn

ES  259,20 Euros (or with only low grades 102,40 Euros) /month

later

HS  777,60 Euros (or with only low grades 307,20 Euros/month
UNI 2332,80 Euros (or with only low grades 921,60 Euros/month

At elementary school you can save every year 2.592 Euros, at high school you can save every year 7.776 Euros, at university you can save every year 23.328 Euros.

This way you are not dependent on the wealth or unwealth of your parents and later you have savings when you have a big entrepreneur plan. Pressure is there anyway (parents, classmates) but at least you are prepared if you choose for your passion after graduating.

My passion was writing (haha) when I was 16. I am doing it right now. My passion is business now. Because this EDUCATION SYSTEM does not exist yet, I wanna ask you 1 thing:

A little 'BIG' thing:
"Find one person who hates something to do and he is prepared to give you something exchange. It is not about money! Your brother hates dishwashing but loves cooking. If you do the dish every day, he will prepare you food every day for free. Because he appreciates that you free him from doing the thing he hates so much." It's called business. Extra: you can find a balance for shopping ingredients. Believe me, you can keep much more from your salary you imagine. It's only bad luck if your salary is very low but every start is a struggle.

Entrepreneurs today can encourage youth under 18 years old to develop good saving habits with a savings account for children and teens with no extra fees.

In the video below Dubai kids talk about money. It is funny: Journalist: "How do you get money? Kid: I earn it. I clean my room. - he says. Journalist: You gonna come clean my room? Kid: If you give me money... Journalist: smiling

I asked several people, what they think about it...

Arno: Sounds interesting, but there are more things needed to be succesful in life and work than only intelligence. The social environment is important as well. You can make education free for everyone you would think this solves the problem, but it is also important that every kid finds his talents and work on that to become succesful. Talents can be more than just intelligence. Sports, culture, music, technology are even more important.

Jaime: Not only rewarding but also good care, supporting, protecting and love.

Krishna: I love your idea about the bank deposits. My kids are 6 and 7 and wouldn't that be a wonderful incentive for them! I retweeted.

Carla: It is hard to create an opinion pursuant to your article. I think parents should receive an amount from the government after the birth of their child for future study. This amount should be on separated account managed by an independent party. This amount should be same for all children, regardless of their parents' income. Parents with a bigger wallet can pay back a part of it as tax. I think if we lay both options next to each other we have a lot in common.

Sarina: I think that's stupid. Reward systems are for your dogs. Not children. Children are not supposed to enter the crazy adult system while they're young. There's enough pressure on kids these days. They already feel the pressure of having to succeed in life. This makes it even worse. The number one reason of depressed children right now is actually the pressure that society lays on them.

More opinions coming soon...

Tips by FastCompany: After you’ve come up with a big idea, run it by your gut. Ask yourself, "Is this congruent with my voice, my vision, my values? If someone suggests a topic, but it doesn’t feel right, it’s wrong for you. A TED talk is your point of view, not someone else’s. What do you passionately believe? What is a heartfelt legacy message that sums up what you’ve learned from life? #TEDx #TEDTalk
