Image
Today I tried it out how it gonna be if I am vegan. Normally I love fish. Tuna, salmon or any fish. And please God, find me a husband who also loves eating fish. But today I tried galuska vegan version out. Galuska is a typical Hungarian (in German: Spรคtzle ) soft egg noodle found in the cuisines of southern Germany,  Austria, Switzerland and  Hungary .  But I made it without eggs . Only flour, herbs and water. It is cooked in boiling water. You can serve it with any steamed vegetables. In the video below Caitlin shows you what she eats for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Season vegetables in March: chives parsley radish carrot Later in the year: April:  spinach, l ettuce, May:   kohlrabi,  asparagus,  new potato  June:  peas  July:   chard,  zucchini August:   stars pumpkin,  paprika,  tomato   September:  green beans  October:  broccoli,  fennel...

FREEDOM #55 Social Media in The Classroom

Image
S kype is not just for use with friends and families. #Teachers have been using it to connect their students with other students across the world, in a way pen pals used to connect to each other. But you can also use it in a larger group project perspective. Matching classes that are studying the same subject could bring in a whole other realm to studying history or literature or science. You can also connect students to people who are working in different fields, so they can ask their questions and get a real life perspective on what working in that field is like. TeachHUB.com Source:  http://www.thetechedvocate.org/use-social-media-classroom/?utm_source=ReviveOldPost&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost   @ techedvocate I can imagine a school day like: it is raining or it is snowing. Or if today the fog is as thick as pea soup:   Everyone stays at home and teachers Skype the families and  get a real life perspective. Mom can cook. Dadd...

Hungary's most creative history teacher is Jรณzsef Balatoni. He teaches at elementary schools, high schools, university and has a page at one of the social media platforms which is very popular. Copy him and use these games at your school.  Jรณzsef says: "They learn to think , communicate, co-work and  they learn how to be   creative ." Parents: "Kids do not go to school to play but they go there to learn. Or not?" Student: (at age of 14 or 19 when they leave school to start life) "Thank you that sometimes you gave me the feeling how it gonna be if I had a father ." Watch the video ( between 24:29 and 27:37 ) Learning years at high school: princes, princesses, kings, queens, ministers, stupid wars, great inventions etc.  Not your favorite activity? In which year was Google founded? Where was Google founded? Answer:  4 september 1998, Menlo Park, Californiรซ, Verenigde Staten   ( Google  is an American multinational techno...
