Grilling sausages and hamburgers in the Vondelpark is now a nostalgic memory from the past. From March 1st is a general  barbecue prohibition in the park. The ban had been hanging in the air longer. In recent years, barbecue has often questioned in the park by the district administration. There are places  preassigned  where it could be barbecued and where not. "Vondelpark is one of the most visited spots by tourists in Amsterdam. Junk, stink and smoke nuisance should not be an issue." Last year people could barbecue just in two preassigned areas in the park. December 21st 2016 the decision was taken by the district to ban barbecuing in the park. When you visit a foreign country or city, for exemple Amsterdam, and you go to a party or congress, sometimes you need a hairdresser (Dutch: kapper). Not everyone is so fortunate that a hairdresser is travelling with her like a super star. But it does not mean that you can not shine and cannot be elegant. As fashion designer I often go to hair salons. Not for me but for others'hair. And I always choose the best. If you are not a topmodel (yet) but your hair and make-up are perfect and you are in accordance with the photographer then I can make you a photomodel... Not just for 1 day but for long term.  Here is my TOP10 list of hair salons you must look around. Order tells you the distance from Centraal Station by foot or by tram. They are known by celebrities. Sunday December 20th Yesterday I met 2 models. Today only 7 people, 4 boys, 3 girls. One of them is ten years old and his mother said yes. Why I choosed for him? Because his hair was perfect. Cool and Dutch, I mean blond. ;) The other one is British but no problem: I have her number and email address. Sunday is the BEST DAY for casting. Everyone is shopping. Exept me. I am just working, working, working... SOS! I need a ridder to take me out for Chrismas brunch... Really. Not joking. Wednesday November 18th An early morning when I waited for the bus, 4AM., 2 young ladies came into the café. One of them typical model type, the other one, her best friend must have some magical hair and make-up make-over to become a model.   I was thinking that should I go or should not. And are they sitting down or going to their bus...  They had a seat. It was my luck. I've rummaged pen and paper up, created a spontan business card and walked to them with selfconfidence.  ...
