FASHION #79 Why I love Berlin?

I did not make video for you guys but I have found one about fashion. How my 24 hours looks like? Why I love Berlin?

1. architect what you see from U-Bahn
2. prices of bakery food are between the Netherlands and Hungary
3. three places where they welcome you without consumption: Starbucks*, souvenirshop at the bus station, café on Potsdamerplatz *Starbucks was emergency to upload my previous blog article and I did not have desire for a too sweet coffee.

Architect is like... I had no time for the most iconic buildings because the bus station (called ZOB) was in the other part of the city but I saw 3 amazing things: ZOO, Budapester Straße, 2 buildings next to each other: an old 19th-century church called Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and a skyscraper. Where to enjoy a table for one if you travel alone? A great Persian restaurant, called PERSEPOLIS with a shop for daily cooking (Kurfürstenstraße 127, 10785 Berlin, Germany Reservation: +49 30 45086734 Open: 11AM.-12PM.). I was able to see so many things because I walked 45 minutes from Potsdamerplatz to the ZOO. There was no rain after 1PM., only strong wind. So strong that it almost blowed me away. So if there is wind you do not need map. Just remember you need to follow 4 streets: Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park - Gleisdreieck (via a playground) - Kurfürstenstraße - Budapester Straße.

It is hard to be lost.

The Bistro at the station sells food and non-food. Breakfast is cheap which was nice to eat it there next to a table. Back to Amsterdam they sent me away because I wanted to eat my food from Albert Heijn. The employee was not the same like in the early morning.

The ladies at the café on Potsdamerplatz were kind, too. It was raining hard and they explained me the way to Booking.com: „It is near, 5 minutes walk.” We had a lot of common to talk with the sales girl at the souvenir shop. It is a tiny shop with low consumption but still I could catch 1 customer for T-Shirt. And I made up some ideas, too. I promised her if I get the job, my first way will be to her to buy one product for 12,- euros.

Back to the ZOB I still had 8 hours to wait for my bus. I looked around and I have found a fashion photoshoot under the ground. Where you can not cross the busy road, there is a tunnel. A young photographer, let's say 19 years old, was shooting 2 teenegers. I searched for my business card and waited in silence. I did not want to disturb the shoot. After 30 minutes when 4 guys already made noice with their skateboards and they grabbed their jackets I came... Before I could give my card to him, he gave me his e-mail adress. So I love you Berlin.

I left Amsterdam with 100 Euros.

  1. Tram ticket from GVB driver 2,90 (Amsterdam)
  2. EuroLines bus ticket 60,- (Amsterdam)
  3. Printing of my resume (44 pages) 5,69 (Amsterdam)
