FASHION #10 Inspiring stories at DS Fashion Week
It was a magical evening tonight... Thanks for Cécile Scheele and for the wonderful models.
On 6 October, 4:37PM. came an invitation to my mailbox to the Dutch Sustainable
Fashion Week. It crossed my mind how many Dutch designers out there are as crazy as I am and they want to make the world more beautiful. 150 stores taking part in the action, and this time we are not talking about the biggest companies who push advertisings in our faces and our grandmothers learn their names in no time, but 150 businesses, for which you need to use sometimes a list (or application) to remember the name. But as soon you wear their clothes, their names never go out of your mind because you find yourself to always buy them.
The fashion week takes 10 days and if you need information just feel free to ask it HERE: https://www.facebook.com/inspiringstoriesdsfw?fref=ts
I'll be honest. The textile factory issue in Bangladesh made me quite frustrated... When this happened, it was in my mind that hey, kids, it can happen differently. Made in Amterdam. Recycling. Green. etc.
The VJ said that although 68% of the Dutch population would like to buy sustainable fashion items, but 11% have no idea where to buy these products. They are invisible. If blogspot.nl does not collapse, I will publish here below that list who sustained fashion pioneers. Look for them in Google and treat yourself to an autumn/winter suit or sweater. - 'BECAUSE THERE IS NO ANOTHER PLANET B'
