FINANCE #86 Amsterdam is 'video capital' this weekend: VidCon & VEED Awards

Youth between 15 and 19 wanna be Youtuber! They wanna be the next Enzo Knol but it costs a lot of time, creativity, inspiration. 

Youtube was found by JAWED KARIM on 2005 February 14. One year before he wanted to find a video about Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. He could not find it and the idea about a website where you can watch, share, make and upload, was in the air.

Now it's 12 years later. Enzo Knol, Dutch vlogger, YouTuber will get a life-size wax replica at the Madam Tussauds Amsterdam. And this weekend is Amsterdam the video capital with 2 festivals the same time: VidCon in RAI and VEED Awards in Westergasfabriek. 

VidCon is an American festival by John and Hank wel-known as VlogBrothers. They except 4000 visitors.



VEED is a Dutch award show where Dutch YouTubers and fans meet&greet and get advies how to do it.
